How it's produced
The two party-appraisers and the neutral umpire (any two agreeing) sign a written award stating the amount of loss: ACV and RCV, with scope and pricing.

Generally binding on both parties. Narrow grounds to challenge: fraud, umpire bias, or exceeding scope of authority.
