Our Ocala home took on damage during Hurricane Helene in 2024. Additional damage was found in fall 2025 and considering we had a different insurance carrier, we were a little lost with the legality of things. I reached out to Ocean Point for guidance and was connected with Anthony shortly after. Anthony took the time to listen to me considering it was a complicated supplemental claim. I wouldn't wish this house/homeowners insurance/damage experience on anyone, it is mentally, emotionally, financially, and even physically taxing. With that said, if you have to endure this process, allow Ocean Point to be the spearhead for you. Anthony answered every email, text and returned every phone call. He encouraged and calmed us in some of the most frustrating days. He utilized his experience and the support and experience of everyone at Ocean Point to make sure we could eventually put our house back to normal living conditions( shout out to everyone at the office) . It took longer than we all hoped, but he advocated to the very end. It included needing to go an extra step and bringing together a team for litigation purposes, but he didn't just pass the file off and hope for the best. Anthony Barber at Ocean Point Claims Company was fantastic! After a bathroom water leak, my insurance company didn’t want to pay the amount calculated by their own field adjuster for the damages. In the beginning of October my bathroom counters were damaged due to flooding from the roof. I live in a condo by myself in Hobe Sound, Florida and was going to handle my claim by myself. I began to be overwhelmed and my neighbors downstairs recommended Ocean Point and Eli Goins to me. The neighbors had had several claims handled by Ocean Point and Eli. I immediately felt better upon signing with him. Eli made it clear and simple and literally took everything off my shoulders. A friend of mine recommended them to me, so I went with them. This was a good decision since my insurance company decided they didn’t want to pay for the roof. They nickel and dimed, so Anthony was able to get with them for more. They also gave Anthony a hard time, so he had to get an appraiser involved. They were able to get more to the claim.
